Enter your total monthly salary or your basic, housing and transport amounts and see take-home pay after GOSI, what your employer pays on top, and an estimate of your end of service award. Works for expats and Saudi nationals.
Rates and rules from the GOSI contributor FAQ, SCPL KSA, Mercans and the Saudi Labor Law.
GOSI is calculated on basic salary plus housing allowance, up to a monthly cap of SAR 45,000. For Saudis already contributing before 3 July 2024 the employee pays 9.75% and the employer 11.75%. Expats have no employee deduction and the employer pays 2%.
Non-Saudi, non-GCC employees do not pay anything. Their employer pays 2% of basic plus housing for occupational hazards cover.
There is no single legal split. A common structure is basic plus 25% housing plus 10% transport, which means basic is the total divided by 1.35. Your contract sets the real split, and basic and housing also drive GOSI and often end-of-service pay.
No. Salaries of employees are not subject to personal income tax in Saudi Arabia. Saudis and non-Saudis only see GOSI deductions as described above.
Under Article 84 of the Labor Law it is half a month of wage for each of the first five years and a full month for each year after, based on the last wage. If you resign, Article 85 pays one third after 2 years, two thirds after 5 years and the full award after 10 years.
It is an estimate with rates checked in October 2026. Rates and rules change, and your contract, your allowances and your GOSI record decide the final numbers.
